Massively Multiplayer Online. Most MMO games are RPG's like EverQuest, Ultima Online, Asherons Call and Dark ages of Camelot. There are some other stho, like the space sim Jumpgate and the squad-based RTS Shattered Galaxy. The investment you need for a MMO is HUGE. Two or three times that for a normal game, at least. And well...to quote- "People are broken" People, in MMO games cheat. They grief other plays, they hack, they try to break the system. And all along, you need to give them a gameing experience without banning too many, without creating media novas... MMO games are HARD. And so far, the companies running em have managed to have one PR mess after another :P Andy Dawn Falcon
