All this is a nothing but a load of bullshit. Everyone is welcome to
disagree with me -- I have no problem with that. It is only when people
start making unwarranted claims ("you have mental problems") or false
accusations ("you are an anti-Semite") that I go into defense mode.

If someone launches a personal attack against someone on-list, and I tell
the offender he is out of line, how is that NOT doing something for the
common good? If it is not "for the common good", then what is it?
You see someone get molested in the street. You knock down the attacker and
restrain him till the police arrive. Are you then doing something for the
common good (public safety) or are you infringing on the attacker's personal
freedom? You seem to be in support of the latter.
