That is not how I see it. I see myself (the victim of Erik's attack) being
attacked for defending myself, and at the same time see Erik's misbehaviour
being approved of.

Erik attacked me, I defended myself, made an entirely reasonable request
("back your claims and answer my questions") and subsequently got told to
shut up. The offending party received little or no criticism for his gross
misbehaviour, and then I should see that as a *compliment*? Puh-lease.

At the same time, there will probably be plenty of consensus about banning
*me*. My fellow listowners *are* considering that, you know.

Nice to see that at least someone still believes I have some rights left...

Only in theory. As this list has shown beyond any reasonable doubt,
criticising Erik for his violations of List Etiquette is itself a heinous
crime these days. The punishment for this crime is massive attack and
(possibly and probably) banishment.

> Do you propose any *real* solution to this problem?

Other than letting him provide the proof and answers to a judge instead of
letting him provide the proof and answers to me?

Oh no, there is no doubt in my mind that plenty of people are enjoying the
current round of Jeroen-bashing. :-(

Jeroen
