Oh... :-)! Of course it's merely a subjective judgement based on cumulative experience, but sometimes it's fruitful to make such judgements. Nah, just if 1) the "attack" is against you, thus lending it an air of poetic justice, 2) the "attack" is the email equivalent of thumbing one's nose, and thus not very serious, and 3) you persist in demonstrating a comic lack of proportion and judgement by comparing Erik's teasing to rape, muggings, and child molestation and by spamming the list with petulant demands for "proof" that you and everyone else know is irrelevant because proving an assertion has never been the point of the exercise.
