Yes, and not just people who decided to email each other privately,
people who were SELECTED by someone, some not even told that had been
specially selected.

If I would asked to help test, I would have. I wasn't asked, I don't
have a problem with that. If I was asked to participate in discussions
about the future of the list (or features of software for running the
list) with a subset of the list, I would have declined. I have a BIG
problem with that.
