Straw man.  There has been no organized discussion.

And if there had been, then by the same grandiose logic you would have some
right to the conversations I've had about the list over lunch with other
list members as well as my discussions about it with David Brin.  You don't.
I should think that's obvious.

The way I see it, there is another first amendment issue here -- the right
to freely assemble.  If you insist that you must be part of any discussion
on a given topic, you are trying to abrogate the right of a group that
chooses to assemble without you.
