I downloaded the author's rebuttal from http://www.greenspirit.com/lomborg/ (PDF) and am currently trying to digest it. Particularly disturbing to me is the threat by Scientific American to sue Lomborg for printing his rebuttal on his web site. It certainly undermines the case against him, IMO.
