But seriously.. do the news channels (MSNBC, Fox, CNN, etc.) *have* to run the same video over and over and over and over? Using the same footage without adding anything new? The news channels have the habit of feeding like vultures over these situations. And I'm not even going into the effect irresponsible coverage has on the unsuspecting innocents who remain glued to repeated showings of the incident.

Another thing that ticks me off is that they start interviewing every Tom, Dick and Harry that may not even be remotely linked to the topic being debated, just to fill airtime between repeated showings of the video. This type of coverage reminds me of SNL's classic parody of "Buckwheat's Assasination Coverage". I think SNL hit the nail on the head with that sketch.
