wondering what the heck, if anything, is going to happen with the "Pan
Frances" at the grocery store (and no, that's not a typo; they are selling
a particular sort of bread under a name that looks like the Spanish for
"French bread", and that's what we use (for a Romance Language hat trick)
to make garlic bread to go with our spaghetti)
