UK ADSL doesn't at this time (except on a couple of the really-really cheap ISP's, and also plusnet who plain HAVE issues, eh) have contention issues. My parents at home use Pipex (�24 per month) and I use Eclipse (�27 per month, BUT it has a 1 month notice period not 12, which is good because I'm NOT here (at Uni) for a full year).
