UK ADSL doesn't at this time (except on a couple of the really-really cheap ISP's, and also plusnet who plain HAVE issues, eh) have contention issues.
My parents at home use Pipex (£24 per month) and I use Eclipse (£27 per month, BUT it has a 1 month notice period not 12, which is good because I'm NOT here (at Uni) for a full year). Both are the standard UK home ADSL 512/256 connects.
So Demon have been taking too many drugs when they have a 512/256 ADSL package with 20:1 contention that they sell for £75 a month?
