Gautam said 1.5 years, so I don't see why you are arguing about months
of planning, it is irrelevant to what Gautam claimed. I'd say that,
given that it happened once, and given the ideology behind it, that if
nothing was done to discourage it, that it would be a good bet that they
WOULD do it again in 1.5 years (they already proved that they could pull
it off, and one might reasonably assume that they would be encouraged by
their success and feel more daring to try again).

Agreed. To claim otherwise is to let one's emotion or hero worship of
certain leaders blind oneself to the real situation.

I certainly think that a number of actions have been taken that will
reduce the probability of a similar attack. But unfortunately, these
insane extremist people can sometimes be quite resourceful and it seems
to me quite likely that they may still find ways to do it again.
