I didn't mean to imply that you were a hedonist (I'd have said 'promotes pleasure' if I did), as that is obviously not the case; I in fact agree with the idea of a society that enables pleasantness -- of course that doesn't mean _bland_ pleasantness, but rather dynamic and engaging.
