I think she takes some of those dietary laws seriously.  Something about
hearing her moan about not getting to eat shrimp anymore when I'm
waiting for the local news blurb on that station....

don't get me started on her attitude of "women stuff" and "men stuff";
there's NO EXCUSE for not understanding some basic things about a car if
you DRIVE one...
