Bad web page colors are a pet peeve of mine, too. I'm not
color blind, but some color combinations give me a headache.
One quick way to avoid a web site's terrible color choices
is to use your mouse to select the text. That will force
the selected text to be the standard selection colors set
by your OS -- typically white text on a blue background.
That might be easier for you to read.
