What law are they breaking by naming their sports team "Redskins"?


I thought I posted a response to this earlier, but perhaps it didn't go through?


Well, obviously the judge didn't think any laws had been broken, but the federal law in question was established in 1946 and prohibits the gov't from registering a trademark that disparages any race, religion or other group.
