Wow, three consecutive posts where Bob, you and I all agree. Let me just add that the proper parallel to the Jews in Germany would be the Arab citizens of Israel. They have the same rights as Jews; the number of Arabs in the Knesset is proportional to their population, and there is nothing that I've seen that indication that they are being harassed by the government. The only thing that is different for them is that they are not required to serve in the Armed Forces...I think they may be required to perform equivalent service instead. If the Nazis treated the German Jews the way the government of Israel treats its Arab citizens then we wouldn't be discussing the Holocaust. That would be a wonderful alternative reality, huh? Dan M.
