According to ABC's The Note, Bush's first campaign ads were just released a
couple weeks ago..... so whatever it is that Doug is referring to (and I
honestly don't know), they definitely were not *campaign* ads.....
Since Doug's alleged quote refers to "the President" in the third person, it sounds like an ad funded by some sort of third party. Possibly the RNC, but maybe something more loosely affiliated.
