Indeed the RNC. Which is legally prohibited, in fact, from coordinating the wording of its ads with the Bush White House (a rule completely breached by the Clinton Administration that may have been by the Bush Administration, but no proof of it yet). I see that John McCain thought the ads were fine. I didn't see the whole text but I don't have that much of a problem with it. No matter how much you try, Doug, the President was President during 9/11, he did respond to it, and it _is_ a political issue. He deserves to be reelected precisely because of that response. All the pretending otherwise isn't going to stop that fact from being true. No matter how much you question the patriotism of everyone who disagrees with you, and then pretend that everyone who critiques a Democrat's position is doing the same, the American people are not (despite what Tom thinks) stupid, and they know what's really going on. In 1944, FDR ran ads asking "How many divisions is a Republican victory worth to the Nazis?" I don't see Bush doing that yet... ===== Gautam Mukunda [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Freedom is not free" http://www.mukunda.blogspot.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
