I am certain. To believe anything else requires an explanation of why Tony Blair, John Howard, Jose Maria Aznar, Silvio Berlusconi, Jose-Manuel Duro Barroso, Vaclav Havel, Peter Medgyessy, Leszek Miller and Anders Fogh Rasmussen and the leaders of many other countries - as well as John McCain, Joe Leiberman, et al. - all thought that military force should be used to remove Saddam Hussein - but President Bush thought that we should not, and instead only did so for personal reasons. To make President Bush an outlier in that group strains credibility. Again, to believe that the President would take us into war not for the good of the country - but for personal reasons, or worse, as a political distraction - is to hold a particularly craven view of politics. >> Winning this war motivates every decision with regards to terrorism >> alerts and counter-intelligence that is made. Like who? 93% of Republicans claim to be voting for him. And I know of no Republican who has called Bush a *traitor* - the single most heinous charge you could make about President Bush. Again, even the ridiculous allegations you repeated from the Moveon.org crowd don't even begin to rise to the level of being "traitorous" - where Bush's motives are not only insincere, but are in fact alligned with America's enemies in a time of war. It is utterly preposterous, and is the sort of rhetoric that should be beneath those who are constantly loudly claiming offense at believing that their "patriotism" has been questioned.
