It is quite amazing. I mean if anyone goes back and reads Dr. Brin's
posts mentioning NASCAR - autoracing was pretty irrelevant to anything he
was discussing. About the only purpose of the NASCAR comments was pure
snobbery - as if being a fan of auto-racing is an inferior pursuit to being
a fan of Major League Baseball or the NFL.
