The Roman Empire lasted for what, 500 years minimum? America just got
going really since 1945. Moreover, even the best estimates for China
don't have them overtaking us for at least 50-100 years, minimum. It
looks to me like we have plenty of time to shape the world of our future.

Totally not true. During Clinton's administration, India, China, and
Russia were holding summits on "multipolarity."

Today, relations with India (and Pakistan) are stronger than ever. In
another few years, we will have a stable and independent Iraq as an ally in
the cause of liberty and freedom smack dab in the center of the Middle
East.

During Clinton's administration, the US stood almost alone in confronting
the DPRK. Today, the US has rallied China, Russian Federation, South
Korea, and Japan to participate in talks to do something about the problem.
