You live in an apartment complex. Your neighbour likes to blast his stereo.
You meet with your other fellow tenants to discuss the matter. There's a
wide range of opinions. Yours is to bust down the door and break his stereo
equipment with a brick. Others suggest talking more, intervening with the
landlord, etc. You, however, had a run-in with the neighbour before and for
you there's only one acceptable answer. Over the protests and council of
your neighbours you bust down the door and destroy your neighbours stereo
equipment. Now, your fellow tenants call you a reckless jerk behind your
back, and you smugly justify yourself that you "stood" up to your neighbour
when no one else did. But despite that no one likes you anyway, and wonder
when you're going to break into their apartment because you don't approve
of something.
