Hmmmmm.........I think the most important bit of info here is that a major Sci-Fi classic is going to get the treatment from a company that makes *very* high quality anime. After sending the original email this afternoon, I gave quite a bit of thought to the idea that Anime is the best venue for Startide Rising. You could never get any better than a sucky live action movie, but an anime could be (for all intents and purposes) practically perfect. Brin should be shopping his wares at Pixar or Dreamworks.
