Nip 1. (derogatory, racial slur) a person of Japanese origin

Jap is also pejorative.  Wiki doesn't list it as a racial slur but I
think its probably more offensive than Nip.

Which is why many people don't know that these terms are pejorative.
50 or so years ago the terms were much more prevelent.
