doing the testing. I can understand the choice of Architect, but
whoever decided on Wizard has a very different idea of what they get
up to than I do; perhaps I've read too much Pratchett?

My apparent ardour was fired more by my initial confusion; I thought
you were talking about an editor called "V". My usual complaint in
this matter is with people who pronouce it in the same way as the word
"vie", rather than as a shortening of the word "visual", which is what
the name is based on, and "V" is pretty close to that, really.
However, despite the choice of the name, I still maintain that it
should be pronounced as "V I".
