I've been noting the lack of or slow entry to events this year
and thought I'd share the Flyght Club situation...

With 4 nearly back to back events it costs Flyght Club

Tour 2          �150 x 1 = �150
Mixed Tour 2    �125 x 2 = �250
Tour 3          �160 x 2 = �320
Mixed Tour 3    �125 x 2 = �250 (Deadline May 14th)

So with the compressed season and the ever increasing tournament
fees, before we've even played Tour 2 (and collected from the players
who are playing) we're expected to shell out �970 in tournament fees
because we're lucky enough to be a well developed geo team with usually 
two active teams.

This isn't exactly easy but given the club ran some indoor events and
we collected some subs we might just about do it. I wonder if TDs 
(us included in the future) might think about getting deposits like 
Nolan has done for BritOpen or at least promising not to cash cheques
until after events. It eases the pain of teams shelling so much so soon.
