I agree we possibly didn't have a strong enough team to warrant
winning, but we lost to both teams by two points in close hard fought
games, both of which with more training we could have won. We then
ended up behind the team we beat in our pool because they had a
crossover and we didn't. I also saw Wizards beating teams in the top
8 by considerably more than two points (teams we beat at Tour 1). Yes
we would not have qualified for promotion but our seeding for next
time is going to be way out and has the potential to screw up another
  pool.
Also the cock up made at Tour 1B meant that we should have been
starting as a top seed in our pool and then this whole mess may not
have happened (UKU should have some propper tour rules out, having
read the others I thought that they were written in half an hour by
someone who assumed that everyone already knew what was going on and
would never have to consult them), but thaqt is by the by, c'est la
  vie.
However the fact that the UKU lets foreign teams into a Tour event as
a one off to and remove them at the end is very unprofessional. The
fact is Brit Open and Tour are very different tournaments and should
never have been combined - they are incompatible. I have spoken to
other people in other teams and some of them do feel that the UKU
couldn't give a damn about the B Tour as it is unlikely to be
producing players to go to worlds or anything that they seem to deem
important. Anyway most of that opinion is for ukdev. The point
mainly is that the UKU wants players to act professionally but can't
  seem to themselves!

My opinions, and I'm sticking to them
  Special
