i guess this means that if you're over stall 6,
you should just take off running with the disc like a
madman ;)

If you're fast enough you can get out of the 3m range whilst they're
still too confused to call travel and the stall will go back to zero
(they ceased guarding the thrower so cannot continue the stall count).

Could be worth dedicating a few track sessions to - faking hucks to
sprinting 4m with disc in hand.

Uncontested offensive catching foul (on a defender who was going to
catch the D had they not been fouled) is a turnover by the way
(404.13.D.3) - encountered some confusion over that this weekend in
some awesome game the champions were playing in that went to sudden
death (closer than the final).

ps. the right decision was made instantly on the pitch
pps. uncontested offensive foul always continues the stall wherever it
is, even if it is above 5, as rob says
ppps. yes I suppose violation would be the appropriate call to make...
can you concentrate to differentiate when your man is running to the
endzone with the disc about to make a touchdown though?
