Yo!

Just a quickie, while I remember.

I was chatting at the end of MT2, wondering why the schedulers bother to put
the final after the other games have finished. It pretty much always gets
moved by the captains in the final teams to be earlier, and then is played
during other game slots. Just in case you're wondering why this happens,
read my ps's.

As the schedule gives the finalists only 2 games on sunday, would it be
worth playing the semifinals at 9, and the final at a gap in the schedule
(oops - more gap talk!) around 12? Perhaps start it half an hour before
other games finish, so that we all get to check out the second half of the
game. This would let the finalists leave early, and mean there was a nice
crowd while they played.

Birmingham was an excellent tournament again - cheers to Si&Ches for sorting
it.

ps - The idea of putting the final in a slot of its own at the end of the
day is to let (/encourage) people to watch it.
pps - Moving it earlier lets the finalists leave earlier, and reduces the
large gap between their 2 sunday games.
ppps - of course there were lots of people watching the football at the
weekend - there was a big gap in the scedule!
