actually us teachers, like civil servants, get paid leave for "international 
sport" like Europeans, Worlds, Paganello etc. So teachers playing ultimate at a 
high level get 13 weeks holiday plus time off for tournaments

hard life eh!

Rodders point is not that he can't get the time off, more of a professional 
level that he doesn't WANT to take time off during term time...

At the risk of causing a trite argument, I think you've not only missed the 
point but responded in an unessessarily hostile fashion to an honest question 
that will affect quite a number of ultimate players for this tournament, not 
just from Fire but from the UK and across Europe. 
 
And yes, I do understand the iherent irony in my own 'hostile' response.
