You're probably right, Jordi.  I originally thought I saw a problem
with an old cmake but it turned out not to be so.

And I am getting more comfortable with creating my own
packages--especially since I better understand how you've  set it up
for BRL-CAD.

Why don't you remove my additions?  (Or I will but not just right now.)
