Oh dear! I don't appear to have a brltty.conf file. I used nautilus desktop to browse for it, but no luck. Brltty has no subfolders.
Thanks, David. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Lee Maschmeyer Sent: 16 June 2011 22:04 To: Informal discussion between users and developers of BRLTTY. Subject: Re: [BRLTTY] brltty - I'm confused! I think David found no /etc/brltty.conf file. As of the last time I freshly installed brltty (at least a year ago) that file wasn't automatically installed. I had to hand copy it from the Documents directory in brltty's build tree. In my case that's: /usr/src/brltty/Documents/brltty.conf So you may have to copy this to /etc and check the permissions. Duh... I'm building the latest development version. David probably has something installed by the distro or Orca, in which case I'm doubtless dead wrong. But I think that file is used in console apps at the very least so it may be needed at least eventually. -- Lee Maschmeyer "Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise." --Lewis Carroll _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
