Dave/Lee, Many thanks. I finally got it working, but for some reason, with ttyUSB0. It happened to be the very last one left to try, and I was on the verge of giving up. You've probably played this game before. Everything is fine, except for the Braille table, which I'd like to be UK computer Braille, but I'll look at the manual to figure that one out.
Many thanks for all help and patience, David. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dave Mielke Sent: 18 June 2011 19:36 To: Informal discussion between users and developers of BRLTTY. Instead of -pm, you need to specify -bpm - -b is the option and pm is the driver type. Also, the device needs to be specified via the -d option - not on its own as a parameter. So, try it like this: brltty -bpm -dserial:ttyUSB6 -- Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | The Bible is the very Word of God.
