Strongly agreed. Further, now that we have an IPMP IP interface per-group, we *could* create IP interface properties for things that are relate to an IPMP group, such as the admin's preferred failure detection time (right now, this can only be set globally via /etc/default/mpathd). These properties could then be managed via ipadm like any other IP interface property. -- meem
