I don't want to sound rude but this mailing list is not for flames. Love BSDs but don't hate linux :) As far as the argument goes comparing operating systems is a complex topic so no point in arguing over that. There is no one size fits all. If you guys are planning to java development and stuff, I would say BSDs are a bad choice. So depending on your requirement chose what best suits to you. But it is nice to hear that you guys are using PC-BSD. Post on this mailing list if you have any questions.
