Thanks, Bjarni. This new patch addresses one of the three concerns I raised
in comment #1. To recap, the other two were:
* Only a subset of sed works across all implementations. What steps have you
taken to verify that your sed is portable? Alternately, Deri and I both
offered sed-free methods to accomplish the same thing.
* The patch contains another set of changes that appear to be unrelated to the
update in how the page count is attained. These should either be separate
patches, or you should justify why they should remain in the same one.
