Follow-up Comment #7, bug #68543 (group groff): You are correct. I just thought if documenting font usage in man some reference to the alternatives to bare font escapes would be appropriate. I.E. -f family (for body text) -dHF=font/family (for section/subsection headings) -dMF=font/family (for TH and MR entries), and the putative -dEF=family (for EX/EE blocks, default C).
Once 1.25 is released and code freeze ended I shall setup a new ticket and
commit a suitable patch.
