Gnome-help-browser is also capable of viewing info-documents. 

This question "How the !"#$ do I read info-documents?" is quite common. I
think some people hesitate to use GNU software because they can't read the
docs. 

Maybe we can improve the situation by including a README in the docs/
directory, explaining what (Tex)info is all about, which readers and
tools are available and where these can be found. I think should be done
for all GNU packages, in the same manner as ABOUT-NLS, INSTALL etc.
