I have just posted this question here in Jan. Since things might have
changed, I am reposting it.
Is there a way to ship texinfo sources in non- iso8859-1 (e. g.,
cyrillic) 8- bit charset so that you can say: "If you have those and
those TeX packages installed, you can create cyrillic DVI from them"?
What about ensuring that non- iso8859-1 *.info files may be generated
from those texinfo sources? If there no such way, is anybody working
on it?
