Thanks for the reply… again! :)
I have UEFI disabled in BIOS - I think initially I had a problem getting it to
boot with it on so I turned it off and that made it work.
I have not touched xorg.conf and I didn’t notice anything suspicious in the
log. It always drops me back to terminal when i close X and gives me about 30
seconds or so before it locks.
