I appreciate all the comments.I am not the person who wants to use these
radio,s outside the ham bands.The fact is KF5OXF  bought these with the
idea that the radios could be used in his repair work for the city of
needville.He is technically able to repair,operate any radio system as his
understanding is far superior to any or most hams.The seller told him the
radio,s would easily work outside of the ham bands.I am in no way an
advocate for illegal operation.I am just trying to help a friend get proper
