For clarification. Sometimes, when you hear a conversation among known friends 
that you want to be a part of, you might quickly say "comment" so as to not 
double with someone. When you're given the go to talk by somebody already in 
the QSO, then you give your call sign. It may not be "by the book," but it is a 
polite way of knocking on your friends' "door," rather than breaking it down.

As to the other goings on in this net control string, I think it's pretty well 
solved if not amplified beyond its original limits, hurt feelings and all, so 
let's all just get over it and move on to something constructive.
