I verified that KTurtle 0.6 works with the Debian Etch install. The VMWare image that I installed took up 2.2 GB. I didn't tell VMWare to pre-allocate storage. I messed up the install as usual, and it booted into XFCE, but I used aptitude to install kdm and then installed KTurtle, and verified that KTurtle 0.6 comes with the default Etch install. I tested that the bugs that Dave & I observed with 0.1 were fixed.
That being said, I prefer Ubuntu/Gnome. By the way, does Debian Etch come with something like Synaptic or Automatix? I had to drop to the command line to install KTurtle. --Nate
