I really like this idea. I think we should combine the Internet class with the e-mail class. We've had this discussion before, about how the Internet is a good class to have early. The e-mail class today took 45 minutes. However, we did not cover Spam and XXX "don't click" e-mails, and we **should** re-hash the Internet safety rules. We looked @ Dave's Spam folder, and some of the kids were oohing and aahing over the "great deals", and I don't feel that they really understood as well as we could have taught them. The Internet class usually takes about 1:15 minutes. The last 15 minutes are spent using Google Maps to find stuff. We usually have the kids find 3 things 1)Arch, 2)White House 3) Statue of Liberty, then give candy. I think it would be worthwhile to consider combining the e-mail and Internet classes, as well as having the parents attend the Internet/Email class. --Nate
