Turns out it doesn't affect our infrastructure systems as the kernel versions on those machines is 2.6.15 and the exploit affects newer kernel versions 2.6.17 to 2.6.24.1. > 3) Ubuntu portion of classroom machines: whenever someone has a > chance, the machines should be booted into Ubuntu, updated, and > rebooted.
