A programmer's first 3 to 6 months on the job is usually code maintenance. A completely boring and unglamorous position - all the hard, nasty code and bug fixes that no one else wants to do gets dumped on the poor soul. I was merely attempting to prepare you for it. Guess I came across a little harshly (it is the "dark side" of C++, I tell you - go away stupid voices in my head! I won't do it!). Programmers who don't find any joy in fixing bugs usually don't find satisfaction in their job. > Your "constructive criticism" is well taken, but some of it > seems like an attack. IIRC, you've been working on it for quite a while...I look forward to giving it a go when you finish (others on c-prog would probably enjoy seeing an Indie title as well). -- Thomas Hruska CubicleSoft President Ph: 517-803-4197 *NEW* MyTaskFocus 1.1 Get on task.
