I have the same problem all the time. I found that if you close the project and
reopen it will some then go in the debug mode.
Also Shutting the complete IDE down and then restarting will also fix the
problem sometimes.
I will go in to the debug mode eventually buts it can be a real hassle at
times.

Subject: [c-prog] Bloodshed DevC++ won't debug?

I have Bloodshed DevC++ installed and can't seem to get debug to work.

When I select, from the menu bar, Debug->Debug I get the following dialog box.
Emacs!

If I click Yes, my project re-compiles and I again select
Debug->Debug but get the same results. (I would try again and again,
but I'd like to think I'm not insane ;-))

Below is my configuration which shows I am supposed to be generating
the debug information.

Can anyone provide me suggestions?

I'm running DevC++ version 4.9.9.2 on Windows 2003 Server.

Thanks,

~Rick

Emacs!
