Here's one: Go make a lightweight, high performance, complete, open source (very liberal license) VC++ C/C++ library. The current VC++ library "requires" Fusion. Which is a complete lie. And it is clear that Microsoft intends the next version of VC++ will likely only support Vista and later. Most likely they will intentionally drag in a completely unnecessary API. There is no need for an ANSI Standard C/C++ library to be 1MB+ and not support everything back to Windows 95. Support all linking modes too. Make it easy to integrate into Visual Studio. I know a zillion people who hate the VC++ Runtimes. That will keep you busy for the next couple years.
