Or you can, as I do, have both handheld and a headset wireless microphones. They use the same receiver, operate on the same waveband etc. I call using the headset, but switch it off and the handheld on (1 click on each) just before the announcements. The handheld also acts as a backup for any issues with the headset (only one found so far is the batteries failing).
